About - The Net2 evaluation kit comprises of all that is needed to evaluate Net2 nano. It is designed to give new installers of Net2 the means of understanding the system components and how they fit together. The kit consists of: P50 PROXIMITY reader, Net2Air USB bridge, Net2 nano with 2A PSU in a plastic cabinet, software and tokens. It is designed to give new installers of Net2 the means of understanding the system components and how they fit together.
Installation - There is a label on the Net2 nano control unit that clearly shows colour coded connections for reader and the power supply. Load the software onto your PC or laptop. Plug the Net2Air USB bridge into the USB port. The Net2Air USB bridge driver software is loaded from the Net2 software. Run the Net2 server configuration program to register the bridge with the server program. The Net2 software will include the bridge in its list of ports to be monitored. Enter a user onto the Net2 software and allocate a token. Present the token to the reader.
