Technical Support Advisor

We are currently looking for driven individuals to join our fast paced, Technical Support team based in Brighton.
As a Technical Support Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service and be the first point of contact for all enquiries from our global partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries via a range of communication channels, including call, email & skype
  • Provide world class, first line technical support across all products
  • Troubleshoot with installers and customers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Accurately keep full and up to date customer records
  • Work closely with other teams in Paxton to test new products and features before launch into the market

PR & Communications Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Location: Brighton, United Kingdom

Join our marketing team based in our Brighton office on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity, where you will be building brand awareness for Paxton by communicating company, product and service key messages via press and media across the globe. The main focus is on communicating company news to both the media & to Paxton employees. The Co-ordinator’s role includes creating briefs, writing copy for targeted communications campaigns and liaising with key media contacts & internal stakeholders to drive news activity. The Co-ordinator offers practical support, valued communications advice and creative input, which are key elements in driving Paxton’s media and communications success forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Paxton’s global PR and communications program to meet Paxton’s business objectives
  • Source and draft news stories to gain coverage and reach our target audience via media channels
  • Ensure strong press engagement by maintaining and developing positive day-to-day relationships with key contacts including publishers, editors and advertising contacts
  • Identify new media contacts, clients, and sector opportunities, and keep abreast of news stories that might be relevant to or affect Paxton
  • Create reports and calculate ROI on PR and communications projects to acknowledge achievements and suggest improvements.
  • Create engaging content for Paxton’s global website. Maintain and update website content including pictures, copy, announcements and articles
  • Lead on communications activities and projects in line with the content calendar. Co-ordinate activities using tools such as Basecamp, our internal helpdesk system and 6 step project planner in PowerPoints
  • Be prepared to travel ad hoc out of normal working hours and stay overnight to help co-ordinate and attend communications events, such as trade shows, exhibitions, award ceremonies, seminars, etc.


Skills & Experience
  • BA Hons degree in communications/marketing/PR or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience of creating communications content for a global brand
  • Ability to be highly creative and imaginative
  • Demonstrable experience of running multiple projects from inception to delivery, managing & engaging stakeholders
  • An interest in commerce, popular culture and new technology for media & communications
  • A sound understanding of the role of Communications within a global organisation

Software Engineer

Department: Development

Location:Brighton, United Kingdon

Join our software team based in Brighton where you will support the Principal engineer in their responsibility for the technical integrity of the Paxton portfolio. You will ensure the progression of project activities on a day to day basis, with a mentality for Test Driven Design methodologies. Your main focus will be that of developing and maintaining a suite services, features and tools. The role will offer someone to work with the latest technologies and develop your career to becoming a full stack developer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop existing tools and workflow, recommends areas for improvement
  • Enhance the product suite through pushing technology boundaries and providing innovative solutions
  • Investigate software defects as assigned and provide timely resolutions
  • Interacts with a team of software developers based internal and external to Paxton
  • Guides unit, integration, performance, stress and supports unit acceptance testing
  • Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents


Skills & Experience
  • Some proven experience working with C# AND SQL
  • Use of Test Driven Design methodologies
  • Experience in using Behaviour Driven Design techniques and working with Azure technologies is desirable
  • Developing software using WEB API, OWIN, JSON, Entity Framework, REST
  • Degree in computer science or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Test Automation Developer

Department: Development

Location: Brighton, United Kingdom

Join our software team based in Brighton where you will be required to drive and develop the suite of automated test programs on our green field projects, whilst ensuring other developers are aware and participating within this. You will be supporting the Principal Engineer in their responsibility for the technical integrity of the data access layer of our portfolio. Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Developer

Join our development team based in Brighton where you will be working on full stack development for one of our core products. The role will require you to perform coding in C#, JavaScript, Typescript and HTML5 to written technical specifications for new and existing features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a flair for UI design

C Developer

Production Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing

Location:Eastbourne, United Kingdon

Join our production team based in Eastbourne where you will be responsible for the supervision of all functions within the factory environment to ensure the smooth running of operations, with a primary focus on Quality, Cost and Delivery, leading to the provision of a world class manufacturing facility. You will also be responsible for the leadership, training and development of staff and co-ordination of resources will be key to ensuring success. The hours for this position will be working from 07.00 - 15.15 Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the Production Manager to plan and co-ordinate the manufacture of PCBA’s, assemblies and finished boxed goods in a timely and efficient manner to achieve your team’s objectives
  • Resource planning in each department to ensure all areas are supported in line with priorities
  • Investigates and resolves problems that arise on a shift by shift basis
  • Monitoring the compliance inbox and acting as the first point of contact for related queries
  • Working with the Manufacturing and Electrical Test Engineers to ensure a speedy response to urgent issues causing delays in manufacture
  • Implement the company’s Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices within the Factory
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time


Skills & Experience
  • Relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Strong people management, employee relations and interpersonal skills
  • An engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills
  • Experience of training, mentoring and developing staff.
